Just how did I get involved in Home Theater anyway….

Well, I started to get involved when I saw Jurassic Park in 1993.  Then in 1994, when it was released on VHS, I played it on my 4 Head VHS and listened on my Dolby Pro-Logic Receiver.

WOW!

Well, that excited me enough to build my first home theater!  It was hardly a true theater, it was more of a big room with some speakers and blackout curtains.  That did not matter to me though, the room was dark and the dinosaurs were roaring!

As my appreciation for the Home Theater experience grew, so did the technologies.  Like any true enthusiast, I am always fighting to keep up with the latest technologies, and am actually building my third Home Theater now.

It’s a multi use space, but it does have a stage, curtains, HT seating, and other essential elements of a true Home Theater Space. Thank goodness for a wife who understands me.

I love talking about home theater, and this really is the coolest job.  I get to talk about what I love!
